Tribute & Wall of Fame Event - October 2, 2010
Friends, alumni, and local physicans were among those who attended this event to celebrate IU School of Medicine's history with Wall of Fame Inductions. The Lindley H. Wagner, MD Scholarship was established for future Lafayette students.

IU vs Purdue Oaken Bucket Pre-Game Brunch & Football Game - November 22, 2008
The initial development of the regional centers for medical education in Indiana was shepherded by Steven Beering, MD, DsC, 40 years ago prior to his appointment as IU School of Medicine Dean and later as President of Purdue University. Dr. Beering was recognized at the Purdue President's Council pre-game brunch for his role in establishing Indiana's Statewide Medical Education System.  Several IU School of Medicine - Lafayette students braved the cold weather and attended the football game.

Dean's Reception - March 18, 2008
Indiana University's partnership with Purdue University at IU School of Medicine  - Lafayette is impacting the Greater Lafayette region in countless ways. A reception was held to celebrate this unique partnership between two of American's leading universities. Attendees had the opportunity to interact and meet with Purdue President France Córdova, IU School of Medicine Dean Craig Brater, Center Director Gordon Coppoc, and Center Medical Students as well as other IU School of Medicine Alumni and friends.
